Pauri 38 — Jat paahaaraa (the goldsmith forging the Word)

1 verses · Japji's final pauri compresses everything into a goldsmith's workshop. Self-control the shop, patience the smith, intellect the anvil, knowledge the hammer, awe the bellows, austerity the heat, love the crucible, Name-nectar poured in. The Word is forged in the True Mint — but only His glance signs it real.
