Let self-control be the workshop, patience the goldsmith. The intellect — your anvil; knowledge — your hammer. The awe of God — your bellows; austerity — the fire's heat. Love — the crucible; the nectar of His Name — poured into it. There the Word is forged in the True Mint. Those upon whom His glance falls — this is their work. Nanak — by His glance one is blessed with bliss.
