Pauri 20 — Bharee-ai hath pair (washing what is soiled)

1 verses · Three orders of washing in escalating depth: body soiled — water; cloth soiled — soap; mind soiled — the dye of the Name. Then the moral realism: 'virtuous' and 'sinner' are not labels but deeds. What you repeat is what you become. As you sow, so you eat.
