Japji Sahib · Pauri 31

Aykaa maa-ee jugat vi-aa-ee tin chaylay parvaan. Ik sansaaree ik bhandaaree ik laa-ay deebaan. Jiv tis bhaavai tivai chalaavai jiv hovai furmaan. Oh vaykhai onaa nadar na aavai bahutaa ayhu vidaan. Aadays tisai aadays. Aad aneel anaad anaahat jug jug ayko vays.

The One Mother, by a hidden method, gave birth — to three accepted disciples. One the world-sustainer, one the storehouse-keeper, one who holds the court. As pleases Him they run; as His decree, so it is. He sees them; they do not see Him — this is the great mystery. Salutation, salutation to that One — primal, pure, without beginning, indestructible, in every age the same Form.
