ਸਾਲਾਹੀ ਸਾਲਾਹਿ ਏਤੀ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਨ ਪਾਈਆ ॥ਨਦੀਆ ਅਤੈ ਵਾਹ ਪਵਹਿ ਸਮੁੰਦਿ ਨ ਜਾਣੀਅਹਿ ॥ਸਮੁੰਦ ਸਾਹ ਸੁਲਤਾਨ ਗਿਰਹਾ ਸੇਤੀ ਮਾਲੁ ਧਨੁ ॥ਕੀੜੀ ਤੁਲਿ ਨ ਹੋਵਨੀ ਜੇ ਤਿਸੁ ਮਨਹੁ ਨ ਵੀਸਰਹਿ ॥੨੩॥

Saalaahee saalaahi aytee surat na paa-ee-aa. Nadee-aa atai vaah pavahi samund na jaanee-ah. Samund saah sultaan girhaa saytee maal dhan. Keerhee tul na hovnee jay tis manhu na veesrahi.

Those who praise and praise — even they do not gain awareness of His full vastness. Rivers and streams flow into the sea — they are not seen separately once they merge. Oceans, kings, sultans, with mountains of wealth — none of them equals an ant, if that ant does not forget Him from its mind.
