Japji Sahib · Pauri 16
Mannai paavahi mokh du-aar. Mannai parvaarai saadhaar. Mannai tarai taaray gur sikh. Mannai Nanak bhavahi na bhikh. Aisaa naam niranjan ho-ay. Jay ko mann jaanai man ko-ay.
By accepting — the door of liberation is found. By accepting — one becomes the support of one's family. By accepting — the Guru's Sikhs cross over, and ferry others across. By accepting — Nanak says, one wanders begging no more. Such is the Stainless Name. If one truly accepts it in the mind, only that one knows.
