सोपक्रमं निरुपक्रमं च कर्म तत्संयमादपरान्तज्ञानमरिष्टेभ्यो वा॥२२॥

sopakramaṁ nirupakramaṁ ca karma tatsaṁyamād aparānta-jñānam ariṣṭebhyo vā

Karma is of two kinds — actively manifesting and dormant. By sanyama on these, or from omens, knowledge of the time of death arises.
