श्रीभगवानुवाचअनाश्रितः कर्मफलं कार्यं कर्म करोति यः।स सन्न्यासी च योगी च न निरग्निर्न चाक्रियः॥

śhrī bhagavān uvācha anāśhritaḥ karma-phalaṁ kāryaṁ karma karoti yaḥ sa sannyāsī cha yogī cha na niragnir na chākriyaḥ

The Blessed Lord said: One who performs prescribed duties without depending on the fruits of action is a true renunciant and yogi — not one who has merely given up the sacred fire or abandoned all activity.
