Dhammapada · 26.41

Pubbenivāsaṃ yo vedi, saggāpāyañca passati;Atho jātikkhayaṃ patto, abhiññāvosito muni;Sabbavositavosānaṃ, tamahaṃ brūmi brāhmaṇaṃ.

Pubbenivasam yo vedi, saggapayanca passati; Atho jatikkhayam patto, abhinnavosito muni; Sabbavositavosanam, tamaham brumi brahmanam.

He who knows his former lives, who sees both heavens and hells, who has reached the destruction of birth, the sage perfected in higher knowledge, accomplished in all accomplishments — him I call a brahmin.
