Yodha taṇhaṃ pahantvāna, anāgāro paribbaje;Taṇhābhavaparikkhīṇaṃ, tamahaṃ brūmi brāhmaṇaṃ.
Yodha tanham pahantvana, anagaro paribbaje; Tanhabhavaparikkhinam, tamaham brumi brahmanam.
The one who, having abandoned craving here, has gone forth as a homeless wanderer — in whom craving and becoming have been destroyed — him I call a brahmin.
