Candaṃva vimalaṃ suddhaṃ, vippasannamanāvilaṃ;Nandībhavaparikkhīṇaṃ, tamahaṃ brūmi brāhmaṇaṃ.
Candamva vimalam suddham, vippasannamanavilam; Nandibhavaparikkhinam, tamaham brumi brahmanam.
Like the moon, stainless, pure, clear, undisturbed — in whom the delight in existence has been destroyed — him I call a brahmin.
