Dhammapada · 26.30

Yodha puññañca pāpañca, ubho saṅgamupaccagā;Asokaṃ virajaṃ suddhaṃ, tamahaṃ brūmi brāhmaṇaṃ.

Yodha punnanca papanca, ubho sangamupaccaga; Asokam virajam suddham, tamaham brumi brahmanam.

He who in this world has gone beyond both merit and demerit, free from sorrow, dustless and pure — him I call a brahmin.
