Āsā yassa na vijjanti, asmiṃ loke paramhi ca;Nirāsāsaṃ visaṃyuttaṃ, tamahaṃ brūmi brāhmaṇaṃ.
Asa yassa na vijjanti, asmim loke paramhi ca; Nirasasam visamyuttam, tamaham brumi brahmanam.
The one in whom there is no longing for this world or the next, who is desireless and unbound — him I call a brahmin.
