Asaṃsaṭṭhaṃ gahaṭṭhehi, anāgārehi cūbhayaṃ;Anokasāriṃ appicchaṃ, tamahaṃ brūmi brāhmaṇaṃ.
Asamsattham gahatthehi, anagarehi cubhayam; Anokasarim appiccham, tamaham brumi brahmanam.
The one not intimate with householders nor with the homeless, who wanders without home, with few wants — him I call a brahmin.
