Chetvā naddhiṃ varattañca, sandānaṃ sahanukkamaṃ;Ukkhittapalighaṃ buddhaṃ, tamahaṃ brūmi brāhmaṇaṃ.

Chetva naddhim varattanca, sandanam sahanukkamam; Ukkhittapaligham buddham, tamaham brumi brahmanam.

Having cut the strap, the thong, and the cord with its harness, having lifted off the cross-bar — the awakened one — him I call a brahmin.
