Dhammapada · 26.5

Divā tapati ādicco, rattimābhāti candimā;Sannaddho khattiyo tapati, jhāyī tapati brāhmaṇo;Atha sabbamahorattiṃ, buddho tapati tejasā.

Diva tapati adicco, rattimabhati candima; Sannaddho khattiyo tapati, jhayi tapati brahmano; Atha sabbamahorattim, buddho tapati tejasa.

The sun shines by day; the moon glows by night; the warrior shines in armor; the brahmin shines in meditation. But the Buddha shines in glory by day and by night.
