Chinda sotaṃ parakkamma, kāme panuda brāhmaṇa;Saṅkhārānaṃ khayaṃ ñatvā, akataññūsi brāhmaṇa.
Chinda sotam parakkamma, kame panuda brahmana; Sankharanam khayam natva, akatannusi brahmana.
Cut the stream, strive with effort, brahmin; drive out sensual desires. Knowing the destruction of conditioned things, brahmin, you become a knower of the Uncreated.
