Vassikā viya pupphāni, maddavāni pamuñcati;Evaṃ rāgañca dosañca, vippamuñcatha bhikkhavo.

Vassika viya pupphani, maddavani pamuncati; Evam raganca dosanca, vippamuncatha bhikkhavo.

As the jasmine sheds its withered flowers — so, O bhikkhus, shed lust and hatred.
