Vitakkamathitassa jantuno, tibbarāgassa subhānupassino;Bhiyyo taṇhā pavaḍḍhati, esa kho daḷhaṃ karoti bandhanaṃ.

Vitakkamathitassa jantuno, tibbaragassa subhanupassino; Bhiyyo tanha pavaddhati, esa kho dalham karoti bandhanam.

For one beset by thinking, with sharp lust, who gazes at the agreeable — craving grows greater; that one tightens his bond.
