Dhammapada · 24.9

Tasiṇāya purakkhatā pajā, parisappanti saso va bādhito;Saṃyojanasaṅgasattakā, dukkhamupenti punappunaṃ cirāya.

Tasinaya purakkhata paja, parisappanti saso va badhito; Samyojanasangasattaka, dukkhamupenti punappunam ciraya.

Beings led on by thirst crawl about like a hunted hare. Bound by fetters and attachments, they come to suffering again and again, for a long time.
