Varamassatarā dantā, ājānīyā ca sindhavā;Kuñjarā ca mahānāgā, attadanto tato varaṃ.

Varamassatara danta, ajaniya ca sindhava; Kunjara ca mahanaga, attadanto tato varam.

Excellent are the tamed mules, the thoroughbred horses, and the great elephants — but better than all of these is the self-tamed.
