Ahaṃ nāgova saṅgāme, cāpāto patitaṃ saraṃ;Ativākyaṃ titikkhissaṃ, dussīlo hi bahujjano.

Aham nagova sangame, capato patitam saram; Ativakyam titikkhissam, dussilo hi bahujjano.

As a war elephant endures the arrow shot from the bow, so shall I endure abuse. Many in this world are without virtue.
