Dhammapada · 22.4

Cattāri ṭhānāni naro pamatto, āpajjati paradārūpasevī;Apuññalābhaṃ na nikāmaseyyaṃ, nindaṃ tatīyaṃ nirayaṃ catutthaṃ.

Cattari thanani naro pamatto, apajjati paradarupasevi; Apunnalabham na nikamaseyyam, nindam tatiyam nirayam catuttham.

Four fates befall the heedless man who consorts with another's wife: the gaining of demerit, no peaceful sleep, blame as the third, and hell as the fourth.
