Mattāsukhapariccāgā, passe ce vipulaṃ sukhaṃ;Caje mattāsukhaṃ dhīro, sampassaṃ vipulaṃ sukhaṃ.

Mattasukhapariccaga, passe ce vipulam sukham; Caje mattasukham dhiro, sampassam vipulam sukham.

If by giving up a small happiness one can see a vast happiness, let the wise abandon the small for the sake of the vast.
