Na santi puttā tāṇāya, na pitā nāpi bandhavā;Antakenādhipannassa, natthi ñātīsu tāṇatā.

Na santi putta tanaya, na pita napi bandhava; Antakenadhipannassa, natthi natisu tanata.

Sons are no shelter, nor father nor kin. For one seized by death, there is no shelter among relatives.
