Vācānurakkhī manasā susaṃvuto, kāyena ca akusalaṃ na kayirā;Ete tayo kammapathe visodhaye, ārādhaye maggaṃ isippaveditaṃ.
Vacanurakkhi manasa susamvuto, kayena ca akusalam na kayira; Ete tayo kammapathe visodhaye, aradhaye maggam isippaveditam.
Watching speech, well-restrained in mind, doing no unwholesome bodily deed — purifying these three paths of action, one wins the path made known by the seers.
