Uṭṭhānakālamhi anuṭṭhahāno, yuvā balī ālasiyaṃ upeto;Saṃsannasaṅkappamano kusīto, paññāya maggaṃ alaso na vindati.

Utthanakalamhi anutthahano, yuva bali alasiyam upeto; Samsannasankappamano kusito, pannaya maggam alaso na vindati.

He who, at the time for rising, does not rise — young, strong, full of laziness — with sunken thought and sluggish mind — the lazy one does not find the path through wisdom.
