Tumhehi kiccamātappaṃ, akkhātāro tathāgatā;Paṭipannā pamokkhanti, jhāyino mārabandhanā.

Tumhehi kiccamatappam, akkhataro tathagata; Patipanna pamokkhanti, jhayino marabandhana.

You yourselves must strive. The Tathagatas only point the way. Those who practice, meditating, are released from the bonds of Mara.
