Yodha puññañca pāpañca, bāhetvā brahmacariyavā;Saṅkhāya loke carati, sa ve bhikkhūti vuccati.

Yodha punnanca papanca, bahetva brahmacariyava; Sankhaya loke carati, sa ve bhikkhuti vuccati.

He who, here, has set aside both merit and demerit, who lives the holy life, and fares in the world with discernment — he indeed is called a bhikkhu.
