Dhammapada · 19.10

Yo ca sameti pāpāni, aṇuṃthūlāni sabbaso;Samitattā hi pāpānaṃ, samaṇoti pavuccati.

Yo ca sameti papani, anumthulani sabbaso; Samitatta hi papanam, samanoti pavuccati.

But he who calms evils, both subtle and gross, entirely — by his calming of evils, he is called a recluse.
