Na tena thero hoti, yenassa palitaṃ siro;Paripakko vayo tassa, moghajiṇṇoti vuccati.

Na tena thero hoti, yenassa palitam siro; Paripakko vayo tassa, moghajinnoti vuccati.

One is not an elder merely because the head is grey. The years have ripened, but such a one is called 'old-in-vain.'
