Na tena paṇḍito hoti, yāvatā bahu bhāsati;Khemī averī abhayo, paṇḍitoti pavuccati.

Na tena pandito hoti, yavata bahu bhasati; Khemi averi abhayo, panditoti pavuccati.

One does not become wise merely by talking much. The one who is peaceful, free from hatred, and fearless — that person is called wise.
