Dhammapada · 19.1

Na tena hoti dhammaṭṭho, yenatthaṃ sāhasā naye;Yo ca atthaṃ anatthañca, ubho niccheyya paṇḍito.

Na tena hoti dhammattho, yenattham sahasa naye; Yo ca attham anatthanca, ubho niccheyya pandito.

One does not become established in Dhamma by deciding cases hastily or violently. The wise person weighs both right and wrong, examining each carefully before reaching a verdict.
