Dhammapada · 18.14

Evaṃ bho purisa jānāhi, pāpadhammā asaññatā;Mā taṃ lobho adhammo ca, ciraṃ dukkhāya randhayuṃ.

Evam bho purisa janahi, papadhamma asannata; Ma tam lobho adhammo ca, ciram dukkhaya randhayum.

Know therefore, O person, that evil dhammas are the unrestrained ones. Do not let greed and unrighteousness cook you in long suffering.
