Malitthiyā duccaritaṃ, maccheraṃ dadato malaṃ;Malā ve pāpakā dhammā, asmiṃ loke paramhi ca.

Malitthiya duccaritam, maccheram dadato malam; Mala ve papaka dhamma, asmim loke paramhi ca.

Misconduct is the tarnish of a woman; stinginess the tarnish of a giver. Evil mental states indeed are tarnishes — in this world and in the next.
