Asajjhāyamalā mantā, anuṭṭhānamalā gharā;Malaṃ vaṇṇassa kosajjaṃ, pamādo rakkhato malaṃ.
Asajjhayamala manta, anutthanamala ghara; Malam vannassa kosajjam, pamado rakkhato malam.
Chants are tarnished by non-recitation; houses by non-tending; beauty by sloth; the guard by heedlessness.
