Kāyena saṃvutā dhīrā, atho vācāya saṃvutā;Manasā saṃvutā dhīrā, te ve suparisaṃvutā.

Kayena samvuta dhira, atho vacaya samvuta; Manasa samvuta dhira, te ve suparisamvuta.

The wise are restrained in body, restrained in speech, restrained in mind — they indeed are wholly restrained.
