Dhammapada · 17.7

Porāṇametaṃ atula, netaṃ ajjatanāmiva;Nindanti tuṇhimāsīnaṃ, nindanti bahubhāṇinaṃ;Mitabhāṇimpi nindanti, natthi loke anindito.

Poranametam atula, netam ajjatanamiva; Nindanti tunhimasinam, nindanti bahubhaninam; Mitabhanimpi nindanti, natthi loke anindito.

This is ancient, O Atula, not new for today: they blame the silent one, they blame the talkative, they blame the moderate speaker — there is no one in the world unblamed.
