Kāmato jāyatī soko, kāmato jāyatī bhayaṃ;Kāmato vippamuttassa, natthi soko kuto bhayaṃ.

Kamato jayati soko, kamato jayati bhayam; Kamato vippamuttassa, natthi soko kuto bhayam.

From sense-pleasure springs grief; from sense-pleasure springs fear. For one wholly freed from sense-pleasure, there is no grief — whence then fear?
