Mā piyehi samāgañchi, appiyehi kudācanaṃ;Piyānaṃ adassanaṃ dukkhaṃ, appiyānañca dassanaṃ.

Ma piyehi samaganchi, appiyehi kudacanam; Piyanam adassanam dukkham, appiyananca dassanam.

Do not seek union with the beloved, nor ever with the unbeloved. Not seeing the beloved is suffering; seeing the unbeloved is also suffering.
