Dhammapada · 16.1

Ayoge yuñjamattānaṃ, yogasmiñca ayojayaṃ;Atthaṃ hitvā piyaggāhī, pihetattānuyoginaṃ.

Ayoge yunjamattanam, yogasminca ayojayam; Attham hitva piyaggahi, pihetattanuyoginam.

One who applies oneself to what is not one's business and fails to apply oneself to what is — abandoning the true aim, grasping the beloved — ends up envying those who pursue their own genuine good.
