Jayaṃ veraṃ pasavati, dukkhaṃ seti parājito;Upasanto sukhaṃ seti, hitvā jayaparājayaṃ.

Jayam veram pasavati, dukkham seti parajito; Upasanto sukham seti, hitva jayaparajayam.

Victory breeds hostility; the defeated lies in pain. The tranquil lies happy, abandoning both victory and defeat.
