Attānañce piyaṃ jaññā, rakkheyya naṃ surakkhitaṃ;Tiṇṇaṃ aññataraṃ yāmaṃ, paṭijaggeyya paṇḍito.
Attanance piyam janna, rakkheyya nam surakkhitam; Tinnam annataram yamam, patijaggeyya pandito.
If one holds oneself dear, let one guard oneself well. The wise watches in at least one of the three watches of the night.
