Acaritvā brahmacariyaṃ, aladdhā yobbane dhanaṃ;Senti cāpātikhīṇāva, purāṇāni anutthunaṃ.
Acaritva brahmacariyam, aladdha yobbane dhanam; Senti capatikhinava, puranani anutthunam.
Those who have not lived the holy life and gained no wealth in youth lie down like spent arrows, moaning over the past.
