Appassutāyaṃ puriso, balibaddova jīrati;Maṃsāni tassa vaḍḍhanti, paññā tassa na vaḍḍhati.

Appassutayam puriso, balibaddova jirati; Mamsani tassa vaddhanti, panna tassa na vaddhati.

This person of little learning grows old like an ox — his flesh increases, but his wisdom does not.
