Dhammapada · 11.5

Aṭṭhīnaṃ nagaraṃ kataṃ, maṃsalohitalepanaṃ;Yattha jarā ca maccu ca, māno makkho ca ohito.

Atthinam nagaram katam, mamsalohitalepanam; Yattha jara ca maccu ca, mano makkho ca ohito.

A city of bones is built, plastered with flesh and blood — in which old age and death, conceit and contempt are stored.
