Dhammapada · 11.3

Parijiṇṇamidaṃ rūpaṃ, roganīḷaṃ pabhaṅguraṃ;Bhijjati pūtisandeho, maraṇantañhi jīvitaṃ.

Parijinnamidam rupam, roganilam pabhanguram; Bhijjati putisandeho, maranantanhi jivitam.

Worn out is this form, a nest of disease, fragile. The putrid mass breaks up; for life ends in death.
