Yo daṇḍena adaṇḍesu, appaduṭṭhesu dussati;Dasannamaññataraṃ ṭhānaṃ, khippameva nigacchati.

Yo dandena adandesu, appadutthesu dussati; Dasannamannataram thanam, khippameva nigacchati.

He who with the rod offends the rodless and the inoffensive — quickly comes to one of ten states.
