Sukhakāmāni bhūtāni, yo daṇḍena vihiṃsati;Attano sukhamesāno, pecca so na labhate sukhaṃ.

Sukhakamani bhutani, yo dandena vihimsati; Attano sukhamesano, pecca so na labhate sukham.

One who, seeking his own happiness, harms beings desiring happiness — that one does not obtain happiness hereafter.
