Pāṇimhi ce vaṇo nāssa, hareyya pāṇinā visaṃ;Nābbaṇaṃ visamanveti, natthi pāpaṃ akubbato.
Panimhi ce vano nassa, hareyya panina visam; Nabbanam visamanveti, natthi papam akubbato.
If there is no wound in the hand, one may carry poison in the hand. Poison does not follow the unwounded. For one who does not do evil, there is no evil.
